By the end of this module, you will understand how to evaluate games critically while recognizing the creative elements that make them enjoyable.

How You Will Complete the Module

This module is designed to be simple, yet insightful:

  1. Select Your Favorite Game:
     Choose your all-time favorite game as the subject of your analysis.
  2. Gather Information:
     Research and compile details about your chosen game to inform your analysis.
  3. Compose your Essay:
     Write a short essay highlighting the game’s most important features and explaining what makes it so appealing.

Technical Requirements

  • A phone, tablet or computer for writing and accessing research resources
  • A stable internet connection

Recognised Credits and Certificate

Upon completing this module, you will earn 1 Credit toward your studies. Additionally, you will obtain:

  • A Transcript of Records (ToR) (for Finnish HETU/PIC holders)
  • A Certificate of Studies (CoS)
